Dependable and robust, the KP-9 pistol from Kalashnikov USA™ is a civilian-legal, semi-automatic version of the Russian Vityaz submachine gun. 100% U.S.-made, this AK-style pistol uses a blowback system, is chambered in 9×19mm, has a 9.25″ barrel, and accepts both 30- and 10-round Kalashnikov USA™ magazines. It also features a hinged top cover with a Picatinny rail and feed ramps optimized for jacketed hollow points.

Kalashnikov KP-9 Amber Wood Edition – Performance Meets Classic Style

The KP-9 by Kalashnikov USA™ is the only AK-authentic pistol based on the Russian Vityaz submachine gun. This compact AK-style 9mm pistol is ideal for close-quarters use but can also engage targets beyond 600 feet.

With a rear hinge block and quick-detach mount, it’s easy to convert into a short-barreled rifle (SBR) or add a pistol brace (where legal). It delivers excellent performance in a compact, American-made package.

What Makes the KP-9 So Compact?

Unlike traditional gas-operated AKs, the KP-9 uses a blowback system. Kalashnikov USA replaced the gas piston with a heavy bolt carrier, inspired by the Uzi’s telescoping design, to keep the profile short and balanced.
